I am mainly interested in 'Napoleonics' but also dabble in
'Star Fleet Battles' (Star Trek (tm) based boardgame)
and use
'Action Stations' (tm) (early-mid 20th century naval) on the PC-anything including a CGA equipped 8086
I am learning
'Harpoon2' (tm) (modern naval) on the PC.
I am located
in Essex (UK) , and have written 2 wargaming programs on the
Commodore Amiga (tm) ,
'Hoist Battle Ensign' a 1900-1950 wargame sytem completely computer based.

a napoleonic warfare adjudicator for use with minatures but refering
to units by name or No. as required
with any chosen figure size or groundscale.
The napoeonic era gives me most satisfaction , I have an 8ft x 4ft table set up and use as my armies the French 9th Corps from 1812 and , from 1815 the French 3rd Cavalry Corps . I used to belong to a local club but other commitments made me give up attending on a regular basis.
As an enforced
solo gamer I now use 'Eagles Over The Empire' by Stephen MacPeak - which
may be dowloaded below in its original form . I have written an addendum
to take care of the problems particular to solo wargamers - which also
may be dowloaded below
